San Clemente Counselors

I believe at our core, we flourish when we are in healthy relationships with self, others and God. When we experience changes in our life circumstances and relationships, it often brings on stress, anxiety and even depression.

As a level 2 Restoration Therapist, I am skilled in working with individuals and couples addressing such challenges and conflict. Certified in Prepare Enrich, I also work with pre-marital couples. My desire is to guide clients in discovering how our relationships are affected and can be strengthened by how we think, feel and act.

I have a Master's in Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, with an emphasis in Medical Family Therapy, from Fuller Theological Seminary. Care-giving for children and aging family members, medical challenges, grief and loss, all take a certain physical, mental and emotional toll. My desire is for clients to develop healthy and restorative coping skills, and to guide clients in identifying supportive resources in faith, family, friends and community. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions.

In addition to being a therapist, my husband and I have raised three adult children. I enjoy being active, spending time with my family and exploring nature with my pup.

I have earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University, and am passionate about walking with people throughout life's challenges. Throughout my many years of experience in church ministry, my eyes have been opened to the diverse mental, spiritual, and relational needs of the church and surrounding communities. Due to this, I am passionate about sitting with people through both the pain and successes that comes with life. In order to facilitate helpful and desired changes within therapy, I rely on the Holy Spirit's presence to guide me in my work.

Specifically, I feel called to work with those who have experienced traumas of all kinds. Trauma can lead to us feeling as though we are broken versions of ourselves, and I believe the Lord desires for everyone to walk in the wholeness of who they uniquely are. I look forward to walking with you towards wholeness!
