I am Kevin Dolbee, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at Emmaus Road Christian Counseling, specializing in motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused therapy.

My practice emphasizes enhancing emotional intelligence through evidence-based techniques to promote emotional health and resilience. I hold a Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership from Life Pacific University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine, underscoring my dedication to continuous professional growth and the application of proven therapeutic modalities.

My counseling approach is deeply influenced by a rich tapestry of life experiences. I served in the U.S. Navy during Operation Desert Storm, learning crucial lessons in discipline and resilience. Transitioning into pastoral leadership, I currently serve at a local Foursquare church and have held various roles from youth pastor to senior pastor, each enriching my understanding of the human spirit and community support.

A lifelong Raiders fan, I've developed a profound sense of long-suffering and loyalty, which enhances my professional practice. In therapy, I merge practical experience with a spiritual perspective that recognizes Jesus’s empathy in human suffering, creating a therapeutic space where clients are empowered to achieve their fullest potential through spiritual and emotional healing.
