Natallie Popineau

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #142234

  • I am currently studying Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University, and am passionate about walking with people throughout life's challenges. Throughout my many years of experience in church ministry, my eyes have been opened to the diverse mental, spiritual, and relational needs of the church and surrounding communities. Due to this, I am passionate about sitting with people through both the pain and successes that comes with life. In order to facilitate helpful and desired changes within therapy, I rely on the Holy Spirit's presence to guide me in my work.

Specifically, I feel called to work with those who have experienced traumas of all kinds. Trauma can lead to us feeling as though we are broken versions of ourselves, and I believe the Lord desires for everyone to walk in the wholeness of who they uniquely are. I look forward to walking with you towards wholeness!

Becky Anderson

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor #14239

  • I believe that each person has a unique, sacred, and oftentimes messy story that is woven together by experiences. At times, these experiences can contribute to feelings of disconnection in relationships, an increase in anxiety and depression, or other challenges in life.

I am trained in emotionally focused therapy and uses a down-to-earth and practical approach to therapy with a heart for working with individuals, families, and couples focusing on issues of trauma, grief, stress, identity, life transitions, additional support in relationships, and more.

Mike Joanitis

Associate Professional Clinical Counselor Applicant

  • I believe in creating space for people to explore their lives in a manner that fosters healing and growth. My therapeutic approach involves examining the psychological roots of anxiety, depression, relational issues, and emotional distress. By exploring those roots, I believe that therapy can go beyond alleviating symptoms and help people live full, healthy lives.

As an ordained minister, I view faith as an important aspect of a holistic approach to therapy. I also recognize that for some, the nuances of faith can be a contributing factor to emotional distress. I am passionate about exploring these stories in a way that is honoring, not shaming. I strive to bring trust, empathy, and respect into the therapeutic relationship as I walk with others on their journey to wholeness.

I am a Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee. I am currently finishing an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine.

We appreciate when churches partner with us to help their members find hope and experience healing. As a result, we get to offer our services to you at a reduced rate.

The greatest gift you can give yourself and your family is the gift of you being a growing person. In addition to being part of a faith community to grow in your relationship with God, receiving counseling is an excellent way to grow as a person.
