Amanda Hay

MFT Trainee

Life is full of challenges. I believe that we can best overcome these challenges by staying true to our most authentic selves.

I love walking alongside people as they seek to better understand who they are, where they have come from, and where they are going. My goal is to help people get to know the person they were created to be. I find it such an honor to see people for who they truly are.

After obtaining my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and in Theatre Arts from Vanguard University, I am now working toward my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University.

Having engaged with communities throughout Southern California, I have experience working with individuals of various ages and backgrounds. I have also had the honor of working therapeutically with children and adolescents in Kenya, where I developed my ability to conduct therapy in more organic ways.

I enjoy using holistic practices, such as the arts and meditation, to help people become more integrated and better relate to themselves. I look forward to walking with you through life’s challenges.
