Amanda Hamilton

MFT Trainee

I am a marriage and family therapist trainee at Life Pacific University, earning my master’s degree. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to hearing people’s stories: the real, unfiltered moments that make us who we are. My passion is walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, offering a safe and supportive space where they can be genuinely seen and heard.

Before entering the therapy field, I spent 10 years as a youth pastor and the past six as a co-senior pastor, experiences that shaped my deep belief in the power of connection, faith, and resilience. I have walked with people through valleys, mountaintops, and everywhere in between—through heartbreak, healing, and transformation. Now, as a therapist, I bring that same heart for authenticity and restoration into my work, helping clients find strength and hope in their stories.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply personal. I draw from the belief that each client’s journey is unique, and I tailor every session to meet their specific needs. Whether working with couples, individuals, or families, I aim to create an environment where people feel safe to be themselves without fear of judgment and are supported enough to make steps toward lasting change.

Most of all, I want my clients to know they are not alone, healing is possible, real change is within reach, and their story is still being written.
