Katheryn de Arakal
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #122157
I have been with Emmaus Road since 2014 and now primarily serve as the Director of Operations supporting our staff and clients through administration. I also teach psychology courses at local universities, investing in counselors-in-training.
I believe we are created for relationship—with others, with God, and even with ourselves. It is my desire for clients to uncover how past and current relationships influence your behavior, thoughts, and feelings in order to bring about change and healing. I am proudly Level 3 trained in the Gottman Couples Method, having skills in guiding couples of all ages and stages in managing conflict and building a stronger friendship.
I am a Southern California native who attended Azusa Pacific University to receive my Master’s in Clinical Psychology, emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
