Practicum Trainees

Practicum eligible trainees must have this site approved by their graduate program. At our San Dimas site, we are approved by Azusa Pacific University, Fuller Theological Seminary, Hope International University, Pepperdine University, Pacific Oaks and Vanguard University. If you attend a different school, please contact Dr. Gayle Samples and she will discuss the site application process with you.

At our Roseville site, we are approved by Chapman University, Brandman University and William Jessup University. Please submit your application to Dave Dillman and he will discuss the application process with you.

Trainees are required to fill out an application along with three references, one of which should be from a member of your pastoral staff. Since our work involves a great amount of spiritual integration, it is important that you are able to articulate that process and that your life demonstrates an authentic relationship with Christ. Please include your spiritual journey along with your application. You will also be required to sign a Statement of Faith and a Code of Ethics. Trainees are considered volunteers and will donate their counseling hours for the first year of employment.

Internships, LMFTs, LPCCs and LCSWs

Interns and licensed professionals working within the community have the opportunity to become paid employees, receiving a percentage of fees collected. While a client-base is not automatically guaranteed, ERCC will assist with marketing strategies. The application process is the same as it is for trainees. For the San Dimas site, please submit your application to Gayle Samples at and for the Roseville site, please submit your application to Dave Dillman at
