MFT Intern #72922
Originally from the Midwest, David was born in the Chicago area and grew up as the youngest of three boys in an active pastor’s family. His family later relocated to Southern California where he has served in many different ministry roles in a small church. After working in the corporate world for 15 years, he and his wife Kim were called to the Philippines where they served as volunteer staff for Overseas Missionary Fellowship in Manila.
David is passionate about individuals realizing their full potential in Christ and finding healing through the counseling process. David’s interests are personal development, understanding identity, and equipping families and couples with tools for enhancing relationships and working through conflicts. David’s desire is also to prepare ministry workers to be freed from the bonds and wounds that keep them from being fully effective for the Lord.
David received his Bachelors in Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995 and is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy. He is also a certified Prepare & Enrich and Marriage Strong facilitator.
