Carla graduated from Vanguard University with a B.A in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. While in undergrad, Carla was selected to be a part of a research team that studied the neuroscience of drug addition.
Carla’s background has wide variety of leadership roles from children’s ministry, college diversity inclusion clubs, and ministry through dance expression. After visiting over 11 different countries for missions work, Carla values diversity and finds it important for people to find their own unique finger prints God has created them with. She is passionate about creating a therapy space where clients feel safe in expressing without judgment and feel free to be themselves.
Carla is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, at Azusa Pacific University.
